Our client is an international manufacturer of point of purchase displays and decorative wire products. This is a job shop style factory environment that is not temperature controlled and certain areas may be very loud. Due to the variable nature of production requirements, employees are cross trained in multiple areas of the operation. This ensures both continuity in manufacturing as well as stability in employment for our Team Members. Given that, attendance is a critical success factor.

Mig Welder Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $20.00 to $24.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 07:30am to 04:00pm )

• Selecting, measuring, cutting, and joining appropriate metals to specifications.
• Preparing metals and work surfaces to ensure safe and effective assemblage.
• Interpreting specifications and blueprints accurately.
• Regularly cleaning and inspecting welding equipment and tools.
• Determining correct gas ratios.
• Testing the strength of each join during and after project completion. 
• Diagnosing issues and troubleshooting as required.
• Liaising with the line manager or supervisor, reporting any issues, and making suggestions for improvement.
• Other duties as assigned.

Mig Welder Qualifications:

• Any level of previous experience with MIG welding, preferred. Pay depends on experience.
• Excellent stamina, strength, and dexterity.
• Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
• Ability to work as a team.
